Hannah Sanders
A Native Phoenician, Hannah grew up spending time volunteering in various ways, and anticipated landing in a career in nonprofit. Directly following achieving her degree in Communications at Grand Canyon University, she took a marketing role in construction which led to a Business Development position for a local commercial landscape company. AME Landscape Companies was known for maintaining prominent properties all over the valley. Hannah led the efforts of cultivating relationships with developers and general contractors for the new install division, leading to projects such as the Watermark, ASU BioDesign C, Sky at Chandler Airpark, and others.
Networking over ways to give back through industry organizations such as Valley Partnership and NAIOP began energizing her, particularly as she became more involved with St. Vincent de Paul, an organization committed to Feed, House, Clothe and Heal vulnerable people and families. When a position became available, she knew it was the next right thing for her to do - a professional home found. Now she serves as the conduit between those who have a need and others who have the capacity and care to help.
Hannah fosters relationships with a portfolio of existing members of the SVdP Servant Leaders Society, new members of the recently established Angels on Call charity network (provides donors a more personal tie to the specific person or family they are helping), and anyone who has interest in volunteering, hosting a drive, mentoring scholars, or simply learning more about the holistic ways SVdP serves the local community.
