Mike Safford

Mike began his career at LGE in 2017 as Controller. In this role, he was responsible for all financial operations for construction, architecture and over 10 separate development entities. He restructured the monthly close process, overhauled payroll platform, company comp and benefit plans and upgraded numerous accounting systems to get better visibility into the company financials. In 2018, he was promoted to the CFO role at LGE. Since Mike’s tenure with LGE, the company’s top line performance has more than doubled all while consistently strengthening the company's balance sheet and working capital. In addition to expanding LGE into other geographical markets and product types, Mike also helped launch Creation in 2019. Creation is an affiliated hospitality and development platform that owns the real estate developments that LGE designs and builds. Being able to have architecture, construction & development under one roof completely sets LGE apart from the majority of its competitors. Without Mike, LGE or Creation would not be nearly as successful they are. Due to Mike’s ingenuity, hundreds of successful projects have brought in revenue, jobs opportunities and positive culture to the markets LGE and Creation participate in.
