Everyone felt the effects of a worldwide pandemic, but possibly no one more than already vulnerable families. Parents had their hours cut and some lost jobs altogether, rendering choices to be made like making rent or keeping food on the table. When these are the decisions to be made, many kids end up going without the basic school supplies. This leads to not only a lack of practical preparedness, but also of mental clarity and emotional stability necessary to be set up for success. 

 A backpack and school supplies will help provide kids the confidence to pursue their education and cultivate meaningful friendships.
